First vote for new Pope today

Pope Vote

VATICAN CITY (CBS) - The first vote for a new Pope will take place today when the College of Cardinals start the election process known as the Conclave.

Cardinals are holding a final mass before they enter the Sistine Chapel to choose a successor to retired Pope Benedict XVI. We're told right now, there is no front-runner heading into the Conclave, but speculation is centering around Italian Cardinal -- Angelo Scola and Brazilian Cardinal Odilo Scherer.

The Conclave is expected to take a couple of days before a consensus is reached.
