Ford to pay for overstating MPG

(CNN) - About 200,000 Ford owners will soon receive a check in the mail -- that's because the automaker is paying up for overstating the miles per gallon rate for some of its small sedans.

Included in the mislabeled vehicles, the 2014 Ford Fiesta, Fusion Hybrid and Energy, the MKZ, the 2013 and 2014 models of the C-max Hybrid and Energy. This is Ford's second downward mileage revision for the C-max.

Owners should expect a check ranging between $125 and $1,050.
