Free movie at Carmike for active military and veterans

TYLER (KYTX) - This July 4th, instead of fighting the heat, sit down and enjoy one of the summer's most talked about action films.

To show appreciation, all active military personnel and veterans are invited to see the movie "White House Down" with free admission. Sony Pictures says this is their way of thanking our trips for their dedicated service. 

Bring proper military Id and receive a free ticket for you and a guest. This offer is only available for Independence Day and seating is a first come, first serve basis.

Showings tomorrow- 10:20a.m, 12:30, 1:30, 3:50, 4:50, 7:05, 8:05.

This movie is directed by Ronald Emmerich. Channing Tatum stars as a Capitol Policeman who has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service, protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx). While on a tour in the White House with his daughter, the complex is taken over by a heavily armed paramilitary group. It's now up to him to save the president, his daughter, and the country.
