CHAPEL HILL (KYTX) - Chapel Hill came together to help the family of a teen who's still in a coma.
A fundraiser was held at Chapel Hill High School for Dorian Timmons.
The Shanita Brown foundation set up the fundraiser with raffles, speakers and giveaways.
Dorian has been in a coma since the head injury while playing football in October.
But today, friends and family got to see Dorian outside of his house.
"I guess people were texting and calling, 'hey Dorian is here!' And to some football players who hadn't seen him since October. It was a very emotional time for them, but they pulled through. It was an outstanding experience for everyone," says Shanita Brown.
The money raised today will help pay medical expenses for the Timmons' family.
