GCSO: Easton man attacks brother during argument

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - An Easton man is in jail on $2,500 bond and more than $3,000 in fines after attacking his brother during an argument.
Gregg County sheriff's deputies were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of Sand Hill Road in Easton at 1:36 Tuesday afternoon, according to a probable cause affidavit. A man told police that his brother, 47-year-old George Edward Bell, Jr., swung his fists at his left eye during an argument, shattering his prescription glasses and leaving a cut on the bridge of his nose and over his left eye. Deputies said they noticed cuts on the victim's head and face, and that Bell continued to threaten his brother after he was taken into custody.
Bell has been charged with assault causes bodily injury/family violence. He's also being held on six outstanding traffic and theft warrants.
