George P. Bush speaks at 6th annual Hispanic Business Alliance

(KYTX) - George P. Bush in East Texas today, speaking at the 6th annual Hispanic Business Alliance awards luncheon.

Bush is the son of former Florida governor Jeb Bush and  is running for Texas Land Commissioner.

Bush told the crowd of 500 people today that as someone entering pubic service, he thinks Hispanics need to participate more in politics.

"Every election cycle we talk about the great sleeping giant that is the Hispanic vote, but unless we get out there, register, vote and get involved in politics, we're not going to have the voice in Washington D.C. that we so gladly deserve," says Bush.

He also talked about a growing our workforce in science, technology, engineering, and math fields.
