(KHOU) - The fundraising and awareness campaign for ALS research continues to take social media by storm.
The latest celebrity to take on the "Ice Bucket Challenge" is former President George W. Bush.
In a video posted to his facebook page on Wednesday morning, his wife and former First Lady Laura Bush had the honors of drenching the former president with icy water.
The Ice Bucket Challenge has been making the rounds online for the latest few weeks, encouraging people to make a donation or get drenched -- or both. Those who take on the challenge then typically nominate three others to do the same.
After getting wet, President Bush challenged President Bill Clinton to face the ice.
The campaign has now raised about $23 million for the ALS Association.
