LAKE MARY, FL (CNN/KYTX) - George Zimmerman apparently has a lead foot.
On Tuesday, the former neighborhood watch volunteer was pulled over for speeding again- this time, much closer to home. An officer in Lake Mary, Florida clocked him going 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. Zimmerman apologized when he was told how fast he was going, before handing over his license.
Zimmerman was recently pulled over in North Texas for speeding. But unlike that stop, Lake Mary police say this time he didn't have a weapon in the car. Zimmerman was handed a $256 dollar ticket.
He was acquitted in July in the shooting death of 17 year old Trayvon Martin
