GOOD NEWS! Bubba T, autistic man who disappeared Thursday, found safe

RUSK COUNTY - GOOD NEWS to report this morning on the search for Bubba T.!

David Roberts, Rusk County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer, confirmed that Bubba was found safe Friday around 8 a.m. near his home and is safe.

The news is quickly spreading on social media: 


Authorities and the community have launched a massive search to help find a well-known and loved autistic man who went missing early Thursday morning.

According to David Roberts, Rusk County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer, Christopher "Bubba T" Terry was last seen at his home around midnight on County Road 173 in Overton. 

"He's well-loved in the community and never misses a football game," Roberts stated.

Authorities from Rusk County Search and Rescue, Rusk County Mounted Police, Rusk County Sheriff's Office along with family and "more people than you can shake a stick at" are all out looking for Bubba.

David stated that more teams from Longview are also on their way to help.
