Hudson daycare owner, worker indicted on endangering a child

A Hudson daycare owner and worker were indicted Thursday by an Angelina County grand jury in connection to a baby's fall off a changing table.

Brittni Dowthitt, 27, of Lufkin was indicted on a charge of endangering a child and injury to a child, according to Hudson police chief Jimmy Casper.

Dowthitt was a worker at Wild About Kids Day Care when 9-month-old Raegan Brasher fell off a table and was injured.

The owner of the daycare, Jessica Bridwell, 25, was indicted on one count of endangering a child, Casper said.

The incident happened in early September after the parents of the baby discovered a bump on the baby's head.
