(KYTX) - A Tyler man who robbed a woman at gunpoint and later used her credit cards was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in prison.
During a bench trial, 7th District Judge Kerry Russell sentenced 34-year-old Timothy Pullins to 30 years after finding him guilty of First Degree Aggravated Robbery. Pullins will be eligible for parole in 15 years.
Pullins was identified in a photograph using the stolen credit cards from the robbery.
The robbery occurred January 27, 2013 in the 1800 block of Loop 323 E SE. The victim told police she was walking home when she spotted an older model white car pull up beside her. A man got out of the car, pointed a small black pistol at her, and demanded her cell phone. The victim handed over her purse and phone.
It was later determined the suspect was using the stolen credit cards at several local businesses.
