KILGORE (KYTX) - Lights, camera, action - Kilgore College Rangerettes are used to the spotlight. But Tuesday -- they were shooting exercise videos for dairy farmers.
"We were looking to reach a different market that we feel was neglected," said Jim Hill, CEO of Southwest Dairy Farmers, representing farmers from six states at its office in Sulphur Springs.
More than a year ago -- the group signed a marketing partnership with the Rangerettes -- to market chocolate milk and low fat dairy products to a specific audience.
"Young, active women that turn to dairy products to maintain their diets, to maintain their weights, to give them that energy that they need to be a part of an organization like the Rangeretttes," Hill said.
