LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Almost 250 kids got their tackle boxes and fishing line ready for a day of fishing in Longview. Partners in Prevention and Texas Parks and Wildlife held the 23rd Annual Kids' Fishing Day. The event was free for kids to learn a new hobby from experts. Poles, bait, and know how was all provided. The day lasted 4 hours at Teague park in Longview. Partners in Prevention Event Coordinator Keeta King says hopefully the kids will find a new love.
