Friday marked the 60th anniversary of the Korean Armistice--the agreement that ended the Korean War.
Senator John Cornyn sent letters for a group of Korean War veterans at the Watkins-Logan Veteran's Home.
As they read the message, they remembered the ones who never made it back.
"We don't know where they're at," Korean War veteran Bonham Burleson said. "There's about even or eight thousand that are unaccounted for. But we'll see them someday."
Some of the veterans' friends and family came in for the event.
