Latest search for Jimmy Hoffa begins today

ROSEVILLE, MI (CNN) - There's a possible development in the decades-old mystery of what happened to labor strongman Jimmy Hoffa.

Today, police are expected to dig into a driveway in suburban Detroit. They're searching for possible remains of the Teamster boss who vanished in 1975. Officers say they received a tip that a body may have been buried there around the same time Hoffa disappeared. Family members say they won't get their hopes up, but say they would be glad to finally have some closure.

Officers say they will take samples from the driveway to see if there are, in fact, human remains there. Test results are expected to be back next week. Police say if the results are positive, officers will start excavating.
