EAST TEXAS (TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - The six weeks Summer Latino Family Literacy
project kicks off the first week of June for children and adult family
members at five rural libraries in East Texas.
Libraries in Winnsboro, Quitman, Mineola, Bullard and Rusk are partnering with Circle of Ten through a grant from The Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
"Reading bilingual books is one of the most effective ways to acquire transferable literacy skills," according to the written release.
