Due to an unusual winter weather pattern, the Azaleas along the Azalea and Spring Flower Trail in Tyler bloomed early this year.
Few hard freezes caused the flowers to bloom ahead of schedule, catching many visitors like Abigail Rodriguez by surprise.
“They look beautiful, I’m enjoying it. It’s just weird they bloomed early,” Rodriguez said.
However, the early blooms haven’t stopped Guy Pyron from opening up his backyard to visitors early.
For those who can’t make it out early, Pyron says that “the azaleas may be gone but the orchids and quite a few other things will be blooming here in the yard,”
The Azaleas and Spring Flowers opening festivities begin March 24th.
