Baby Ezra: ETX community wraps loving arms of support around micro preemie

LINDALE - Regan didn’t expect to already have given birth to her baby boy before her baby shower, but she did. Ezra Cole Fitts was born at 25 weeks on Nov. 6, weighing just 14 ounces and 11 inches long.

At just eight days old, Baby Ezra has already made a huge impact on the community of Lindale and has already proved he is a mighty fighter.

Ezra is living the beginning of his life in Dallas at Children’s Medical Center, almost 95 miles away from his parents Regan and Dillon who through the power of prayer and love poured in from the community of Lindale have done their best to stay strong for their micro preemie.

Although, this will be a long journey for Regan, Dillon and baby Ezra they know through their faith and community support Ezra will overcome this rough beginning of life.

If you drive along main street in Lindale you’ll see the many signs of support for Baby Ezra.

But the signs aren’t the only way Lindale is showing support. On Nov. 15, Chili's in Lindale will be giving a portion of proceeds to Regan, Dillon and baby Ezra for any expenses that they may face.
