Tyler City Council Board members reviewed budget proposals to improve the quality of city roads on Wednesday.
The proposals were presented along with a new survey that found that the quality of the city’s streets had fallen in four years from “Good” to “Fair.”
Breanna Smith with Dynatest, the company that surveyed the city streets, said that the city would have to spend an extra $500,000 to keep up with the costs of future repairs and reclaim it’s “good” status.
Council members did not reach a decision on Wednesday regarding funding.
