LONGVIEW - This year’s East Texas Walk to End Alzheimer's helped raise $58,000 dollars for research. Officials say more than 300 people walked three miles to support the fight against Alzheimer's.
One family says walking helps them honor their loved one who is currently fighting Alzheimer's.
"My family and I are walking for my mother-in-law who is fighting this disease," Rhett McCullough says. "She would be very happy to know we are here to support her and research."
