The victims have been identified but now the heroes that stepped in to help out during and after the traumatic shooting in Las Vegas are being identified as well, and one of them calls East Texas home.
Frank Mosley, in Las Vegas celebrating his birthday, was just a mile and a half from the hotel in which the shooter fired down at hundreds of concertgoers Sunday night.
Mosley had no idea what was going on just down the Las Vegas strip until worried friends texted him in the middle of the night.
After seeing what had happened, Mosley knew that he had to step in and help those affected.
With his over 20 years of Red Cross Volunteer experience, Mosley knew how to help. He contacted the Red Cross and was given permission to use his skills to help in the chaos.
After putting in time on his birthday to help those in need, he will be returning to Longview on Wednesday.
