What you need to know about Tyler's tree lighting and Christmas parade

TYLER, TX - The Christmas parade and tree lighting celebration in downtown Tyler is happening on Thursday, November 30th. 

The Tyler Rotary Club's Christmas parade kicks off at 6 p.m. followed by the 34th annual Christmas tree lighting celebration. 

Many people are arriving a couple of hours before the parade starts to avoid road closures and to make sure they get a good spot to see both events. 

Road closures 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

  • N. Broadway Ave. from Gentry Pkwy to Elm St.
  • Ferguson St. from Bonner Ave. to Center Ave.
  • Bois D'Arc Ave. from Ferguson St. to Erwin St.
  • Erwin St. from Bonner Ave. to Center Ave.
  • Spring St. from Elm St. to Valentine St. 

Parking for the events is free in the Fair Plaza Garage.
