Local motorcycle club raises money for kids with burn injuries

KILGORE - The Brother's Keepers Motorcycle Club hosted their fourth annual East Texas Burn Run in Kilgore. The event featured a 60 mile poker run, car show, live entertainment and food.

Brother's Keeper Motorcycle Club is made up of firefighters who want to give back to their communities. Every year they send between 50 to 70 kids with burn injuries to a week long summer camp.

“We raised $103,000 last year for the kids and hope to reach that goal this year,” Brother’s Keeper Motorcycle Club Texas State President Bobby Watson tells us.

He says the camp helps give kids confidence to overcome their injuries and meet other kids like them.

Members from other chapters of the club also came out to support today's fundraiser.
