Longview man to serve 65 months, drug trafficking

TYLER - Desmond Denard Brown, a 31-year-old Longview native, will serve 65 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to drug trafficking violations in East Texas.

Brown's guilty plea took place in March of this year, admitting to possessing with intent to distribute and distributing crack cocaine.

As court proceedings revealed, Brown distributed about 28 grams of crack cocaine in Gregg County in June of 2016. He was indicted by a federal grand jury in January of this year.
