Man indicted for manslaughter in connection with July 25 death of Longview cyclist

GREGG COUNTY - One person was indicted by a grand jury on Oct. 13 in connection with the death of a Longview cyclist on July 25.

The cyclist, 19-year-old Paul Price, was riding his bicycle on Loop 281 when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Bryan Arnold. Price was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Arnold was detained and later arrested for failure to stop and render aid, driving while intoxicated and driving with an invalid license.

Arnold was indicted for intoxication manslaughter, accident involving death and remains in the Gregg County Jail on bonds totaling $125,000.
