Marshall ISD student removed from campus after alleged threat to MHS

MARSHALL - According to Marshall ISD, a student has been removed from Marshall High School after an alleged threat was made toward the campus. 

In a statement on their Facebook page, the district says the matter is being investigated by the Marshall ISD Police Department and "administration is taking this alleged threat very seriously."

Additional security measures will be taken for the next two days at Marshall High School. 

The district says that starting Thursday Dec. 21, 2017 through Friday Dec. 22, 2017, they will increase the number of police officers on campus. 

Entrances to the school will also be limited to two areas, with students either entering the school through the main entrance near the front office, or through the cafeteria entrance.
