He's an adorable, fun loving boy with a lot of love to give, and he's in need of a forever family.
Here is Jesse's story in CBS 19's "Children Are A Gift."
"1,2,3. Good. Now I want you to go 1,2,3,4,5,6 with both hands. 1,2,3,4,5,6. Very good."
Jesse is an outgoing 9-year-old.
He's learning martial arts at Tyler Kung Fu & Fitness from Brandon Jones.
"Are you ready? Say yes sir. Yes sir. Let's do it. Awesome. Give me a high five."
"He's good. He's got a lot of potential."
"His balance is very good. He was able to stand on one foot and do the little mantis technique."
"What was your favorite part? Getting to hit Mr. Bullyman."
"Go, Go, Go. 1,2,3. Through the tunnel. Wow, you did it."
Jesse enjoys sports, basketball is his favorite. He's also a huge wrestling fan.
"Do you have a favorite wrestler? Yes, I have two actually. Who? John Sena and the Undertaker. The Undertaker, that sounds scary."
This inquisitive boy likes to put things together... Especially building with Legos.
"I had a lot of Legos so I built almost all my Legos to the top. Wow, you must be a pretty good Lego builder. I am."
"He's very funny. Very kind and he always has a positive attitude about his life and where things are going."
Jesse was born with heart disease and has undergone surgery. He may need more in the future.
"He's managed well with it. He's not limited in his activities. He just needs routine doctor visits at this time."
"What do you want to be when you grow up Jesse? A policeman. Why? cause I like playing cops and stuff."
Jesse is learning techniques....
"Let's do it again. Upper block. Palm strike. Snap kick.
...Giving him confidence and building his self esteem while he waits to leave foster care.
"He very much wants a family, siblings cousins people to play with. A forever home a mom and dad to call his own."
"Man, you were terrific. How'd you do all that today? You learn quick."
