Children Are A Gift: Warren

Children Are A Gift: Warren

TYLER (KYTX) – Warren always makes himself right at home and never meets a stranger.

"He's very energetic and likes to explore. He likes to take someone's hand and invite them along on the journey and climb and walk and share the experience with anyone he comes in contact with," said Jerry Johnson with Child Protective Services.

This 6-year-old is loving and affectionate. He has a warm smile and is always happy.

Jerry said, "This child is a bright light. He's beautiful and when you look into his eyes and you see his face he immediately takes you in and brings joy."

Warren is diagnosed with autism and is non-verbal. He will need assistance with daily living. "He's got some limitations, so he's going to need some extra love and attention to help him get along."

He enjoys playing with other children and especially likes colorful toys with interesting textures. He also likes going to school and has made a lot of progress while in foster care, including learning a few words. It leaves the door open for even more progress to be made with a forever family.

"A family for Warren is going to be a very structured family. A very active family and be able to give him all the attention he needs and deserves," explained Jerry.

This special boy needs a home where he can feel safe and spend the rest of his life surrounded by love. "Warren is going to be a Heaven sent blessing to whoever takes him into their home. He is going to bless that family more than the other way around."
