OVERTON - Overton residents are still cleaning tree limbs and other debris after a tornado hit their area.
Officials say Ef-1 tornadoes bring 85 to 110 mile per hour winds, heavy rain, and lightning.
One resident tells us he saw the tornado funnel cloud, before running to shelter. "The sirens started going off and we went outside to see a funnel cloud," Overton resident Paul Alexander said. "We then went for cover."
Alexander and his neighbors did not have any damage to their homes.
Overton Housing Authority Executive Director Don Eaves says he is thankful that none of his residents homes were damaged. He says all four of the public properties contain 150 people, no injuries have been reported.
After the NWS investigation is complete this tornado will officially be the seventh East Texas tornado this year.
