Two in jail after search warrant yields meth find

CHEROKEE COUNTY - Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotic Division conducted an investigation into the distribution of narcotics in the Shady Brook Subdivision, on Lake Palestine.
As a result of the investigation, a Narcotic Search Warrant was executed in the 700 block of Elizabeth Street Thursday.
More than half an ounce of Methamphetamine was seized from the residence along with various items of drug paraphernalia.
John Lydy, 44 years of age of Bullard, Texas was arrested for two charges:
  1. Arrest Warrant for Manufacture or Delivery of a Substance in Penalty Group 1 (F2), bond set at $30,000.
  2. Manufacture or Delivery of a Substance in the Penalty Group 1 (F1), bond set at $50,000.

Also, arrested at the scene was Brittany Scheuerman, 30 year of age.
Scheuerman was arrested for outstanding arrest warrants out of Henderson County, Texas.
