Tyler Police respond to aggravated assault call

Tyler Police responded to an aggravated assault call Thursday afternoon at approximately 1:58 p.m on 2701 N Tenneha.
Officers received reports of a man with a rifle making a disturbance.
Upon arrival officers located the suspect, identified as Kendricks Marsh. Officers learned that Marsh had started an altercation with his neighbors. 
Prior to officers arriving Marsh had left and then returned, armed with an SKS style rifle. Marsh pointed his rifle at residents in an attempt to fire the weapon, but the rifle was not in working condition and failed to fire. 
After further investigation, the firearm was located and Marsh was placed under arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a firearm. 
No injuries to either party reported.
