KYTX - Millennials make about 30 percent of the electorate. That's about the same as the 'Baby Boomer' generation. It is believed that millennials can change politics dramatically.
CBS 19 acquired the election map of 2016. Donald Trump won some states like Wisconsin, which known to be usually Democrat. Compared to if millennials only voted it evident that, Clinton would have won by a landslide.
The 'millennial map' shows how Hillary Clinton would have 504 electoral votes, versus Trump's 23 votes. Only five out of the 50 states would be labeled Republican.
CBS19 pulled up tweets from college students in East Texas expressing their political views. A few students showed favored to Trump, however, students said that young people need to vote. Those who didn't, students said they shouldn't be upset about the results.
