LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview community leaders met today as a part of the Longview Comprehensive Plan.
A plan that is attempting to draw a road map on where the city should be in the next 15 to 20 years. The city is administering these online surveys that ask residents about their concerns, likes, and thoughts on the city. The results will be counted and it will give the city an idea on where the problems are in the city.
Longview Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee Chairman Keith Honey says today's meeting is to get an early idea of what residents are saying.
"I'm very interested to the point that I raise my family here, I hope to be here a longtime. I also love the community, the people and I think it has a bright future. I just want to see it grow and develop." -
The next meeting will be held on February 10th at LeTourneau University. If you would like to take part in the surveys.
