Longview Police arrest three homeless suspects on railcar

Longview Police Department:

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - On November 9, 2013 at 11:41 a.m., Longview Police were dispatched to the Union Pacific railroad tracks near the area of Premier Road. 

Officers were told that there was a subject who had "stowed away" on one of the cars near the back of the train.  Officers located three subjects and a dog riding on the exterior of a railroad car. 

The three subjects were identified as 19 year-old Gabriel Matthew Kerr and 18 year-old Felicia Torres of California and 25 year-old Deajoney Marie Brooks of Arizona. 

The three suspects admitted they had hopped on the train in Shreveport, Louisiana and were headed to California.  All three were arrested for interfering with railroad property a Class C Misdemeanor and transported to the Gregg County Jail without incident.  The dog was transported to the Humane Society of Northeast Texas
