Help End Auto Theft (H.E.A.T.) is a statewide vehicle registration program administered by the Texas Department of Public Safety and conducted by local law enforcement agencies. This program aids law enforcement with identifying stolen cars by marking them with a set of decals on both the front and back windshields. Owners of the vehicles marked with these decals have agreed to allow law enforcement officers to stop the vehicle and verify the driver's information if located during the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. statewide, as well as a tagged vehicle attempting to cross the border into Mexico.

There is no charge to register a vehicle for the H.E.A.T. program. Below are scheduled dates, times, and locations for the scheduled H.E.A.T. programs.

January 18, 2013 Page Place I 1907 Page Rd. from 1-4 p.m.
