LONGVIEW/GREGG COUNTY (KYTX) - More than 2,000 high school juniors were at LeTourneau University in Longview this morning for Career Expo 2013.
The event brings students together with professionals representing 85 careers right here in East Texas. The Greater Longview Organization of Business and Education held the event -- so students can ask questions to the people who work in those specific fields.
"It's not a job fair, but they're sharing with the students career opportunities that they have within their businesses," organizer Marty Lane said.
The two-day expo ends tomorrow with students from Longview, Gilmer, Sabine, Harleton and Tatum.
