Nacogdoches Co. Sheriff's Office arrests two on drug related charges

NACOGDOCHES CO. (KYTX)- Two people are in jail after Monday afternoon Nacogdoches County Sheriff Investigators found over six grams of methamphetamine at a residence.

Yesterday, while investigators with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office, were investigating a string of burglaries encountered several subjects in the 1800 block of Press Road. The subjects were acting very nervous and were known narcotics users.

Investigators received consent to search the residence that led to the discovery of 6.6 grams of crystal methamphetamine found in the living room. Also found in the residence were numerous plastic baggies and digital scales.

Arrested at the scene were Donald Handlin, 32, and Lindsey Davis, 28, for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance, first degree felony.

Both subjects were booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail.
