Nacogdoches Police seek information on jogger struck in hit-and-run accident

NACOGDOCHES (KYTX) - Nacogdoches Crime Stoppers is seeking information about an incident thought to be a hit-and-run accident involving a jogger.

On Friday morning, May 30, 2014, a female was jogging southbound on the sidewalk in the 2500 block of North University Drive.

The female was located with serious injuries just off the roadway and just north of the commuter lot of the SFASU campus. The victim's injuries lead investigators to believe that she was struck by an unknown southbound vehicle.

The incident occurred between 9:10 and 9:20 AM. Officers are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to contact the Nacogdoches Police Department Traffic Division at 936-559-2607.

The automobile involved should have some passenger side damage and/or a damaged passenger side rear view mirror.

NACOGDOCHES CRIME STOPPERS is offering a CASH REWARD of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest or grand jury indictment of the person driving the vehicle in this incident.
