New evening classes available at Kilgore College

(KYTX) - Kilgore College in Longview will be offering classes this fall geared towards working adults.

These classes will give students the opportunity to earn 12 hours of college credit in 16 weeks.

QUEST classes, which stands for, "Quick Education for a Successful Tomorrow," gives students needed education to succeed in a career or enter a bachelor's degree program.

"Many adults who want to go back to college find it discouraging. They can only take a course here or there, and they have to get time off from work to attend day classes," says Frank Mosley, director of instructional student support.

"Every QUEST class is very affordable and offered in the evening, making it a perfect fit for working adults."

QUEST classes are usually offered in a hybrid format, with one-half of the class online and one-half in a traditional classroom setting with the instructor.

They will be offered on Tuesday and Thursdays from 6 to 8:50 p.m.
