NEW INFORMATION: Suspect & victim in Texarkana shooting identified

TEXARKANA (KTBS) UPDATE: The suspect in this shooting has been identified as Antonio Black, 30. Police say he shot his girlfriend, LaPassion Henry, 23, after a domestic dispute.

TAPD officials say this dispute began Thursday evening. Friday morning, police say, Black located Henry and her cousin inside a vehicle in the 3700 block of East Street in Texarkana, Ar.

Police say Black then rammed his vehicle into Henry's vehicle just prior to shooting Henry twice. At that time, according to authorities, Black got into the vehicle with Henry and drove away, leaving Henry's cousin behind, who then called for police assistance.

Black drove Henry to Miller County Road 26, according to police, where he left her down a roadway. Black walked back to the highway and was subsequently located by police and arrested. Henry was located and airlifted to St. Michael hospital where her condition is unknown at this time.

Black was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault of a family or household member, kidnapping, theft of property o/5000, and criminal attempt - capital murder.

(MILLER CO., Ar.) - A woman is recovering this morning after a shooting in Miller County, Arkansas. Authorities tell KTBS 3 News that a man is in custody and the wounded woman has been airlifted to a hospital.

Details are limited at this time, but it appears the shooting occurred at a Dollar General Store on East Street in Texarkana, Ar.

Authorities say after the woman was shot in the shoulder, the gunman took her to the Fouke area where he was arrested.
