(CBS)- The search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is moving to an area farther south in the southern Indian Ocean. But it is still along the arc where the aircraft last communicated with satellite.
Flight 370 disappeared over Southeast Asia on March 8th. Searchers have so far found no trace of the Boeing 777 or the 239 people aboard, making it one of the biggest mysteries in aviation history.
The search will begin with a mapping of the sea floor and an underwater search is expected to start in August. It will take about 12 months to complete.
