NJCAA Rules TVCC Must Strike All Wins from Successful 2013 Football Season

ATHENS (KYTX) -- There is some major news to report in the world of East Texas college football. Trinity Valley Community College posted on its website Friday that it must vacate all the wins from its successful 2013 season. In other words it's like the games never happened and no one wins.

The college in Athens reported an eligibility issue to the National Junior College Athletic Association which handed down the ruling. TVCC plans to appeal the athletic association's ruling. The TVCC Cardinals had a 10-2 season last year claiming regional and Heart of Texas Bowl championships.

Tyler Junior College has not yet been contacted about this. There's no confirmation exactly how this would impact TJC's record.
