Released by the Tyler Police Department:
On January 18, 2014 at approximately 3:45 PM the Tyler Police Department received a 911 call about a possible robbery of an individual on the 2800 block of Garden Valley.
The victim stated that two black males had tried to steal his truck and produced a gun when confronted. Both suspects ran towards Bolter Middle School.

On scene investigation showed that both suspects had entered the victim's dump truck and found a set of keys in the sun visor.
