TYLER (KYTX) - If you like a good game of dodgeball, grab your friends and head to First Christian Church in Tyler this Saturday.
The Parent Services Center in Tyler is holding its third annual dodgeball tournament.
This is the center's biggest fundraiser of the year.
The money raised from the tournament is used for parent education support in East Texas, including a new program to help homeless mothers.
"I'm excited about a new project we have with Rev. Jerome Milton. We are helping homeless mothers. We're going to provide parenting lessons and mentoring parents. We're going to help them get independent instead of dependent," said Shelley Judd with Parent Services Center.
The tournament will be at First Christian Church in Tyler from 9am until 4pm.
You can register a team of 6 to 8 people for $150 dollars. It's not too late to sign up, just show up a little early Saturday morning to register.
