(CBS) - The man behind an anti-Islam film is in custody this morning.
The film sparked many violent protests throughout the Muslim world. A federal judge determined Nakoula Basseley Nakoula violated his probation for a 2010 check fraud conviction and ordered police to detain him.
Judge Suzanne Segal said Nakoula had a lengthy history of lying to probation officers, including using aliases. Nakoula used a fake name to make the film "Innocence of Muslims." The trailer for the movie depicts Muhammad as a womanizer, child molester and religious fraud.
