(CNN) - A gunman accused of killing three police officers and wounded two others in Canada is behind bars.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police say they arrested Justin Bourque late Thursday night. He's 24-year-old.

Authorities said the suspect, dressed in fatigues and armed with a rifle, went on a rampage Wednesday evening in Moncton, New Brunswick. Police say they spotted the suspect at least three times Thursday morning, but did not catch him.
