Police need help finding suspect for ATM theft

VAN ZANDT COUNTY -- On Tuesday April 3, 2012 the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office responded to an alarm at the Martins Mill Store in Martins Mill, Texas.

The Deputy arrived and discovered forced entry to the back door and the ATM machine inside the store had been pried open. The suspect is believed to be a black male who fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money from the ATM machine.

The suspect also cut the telephone lines to the service box near the business leaving over 100 people in the area without phone service. The suspect entered the store around 03:00 a.m. and fled the scene around 03:15 a.m.

The video surveillance shows an unknown vehicle pass the store while the suspect was outside the rear of the building. This vehicle passed the store and may have seen the suspects' vehicle.
