Police need help identifying convenience store robbery suspect

BOSSIER CITY, La (KYTX) - The Bossier City Police Department and Bossier Crimes Stoppers are asking the public for help in finding the suspect who committed the simple robbery of a local convenience store last month. Bossier Crimes Stoppers is offering a $240 reward for information that leads to his arrest.

The robbery occurred on November 27, 2012 at the Circle K in the 7900 block of East Texas Street. The suspect entered the store and walked out a short time later without purchasing anything. He then came back into the store with a hood pulled over his head, approached the clerk behind the counter and demanded money from the register. The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Photos from store security cameras show the suspect when he initially entered the store. He's a black male and was wearing a red baseball cap along with a black and red jacket with what appears to be a New York Yankees baseball team logo on the left front.

Anyone with information about the suspect in this case is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at (318) 424-4100.
