Power back on in downtown Jacksonville after Sunday morning fire

JACKSONVILLE (KYTX) - Jacksonville fire chief says power is back up on Main Street in downtown Jacksonville, where there was a huge fire Sunday morning.

The two story building where the fire started, and the one next door with water damage are the only buildings without power this morning.

The fire chief said the fire did start in the back of the two story building, formerly known as the restaurant Yum Yum's. Fire officials say it started in the kitchen, but still do not have a cause. The state of the building is not safe enough for investigation so the cause may remain undetermined.

The building next door to Yum Yum's was recently vacated, so no one was there at the time.
