REL students auction playhouses for Habitat for Humanity

TYLER (KYTX) - Four playhouses are on the auction block online, and about to be on display at Fresh in Tyler. Robert E. Lee students are using their construction skills to build the houses. CBS 19's Amanda Roberson explains how the money raised goes to a good cause.

All of the money raised from the playhouse auction will benefit the local Habitat for Humanity chapter. The students have been working on this project most of the semester and they're just a couple of steps away from putting them on display.

The silent auction is held online, but the playhouses will be on display at Fresh November 29 - December 16. the starting bid is $1,000.

Next year the program will expand to include John Tyler High School students.
